Iceland/Finland.

We enjoyed our 4 day stopover in Helsinki, using a 3 day Helsinki pass to cover public transport, free access to a number of main tourist activities and a discount on the Tallink Ferry to Tallinn.

It is only a 2 hour ferry ride from Helsinki to Tallinn, Estonia. The old town is a marvel and we spent around 6 hours wandering around.  The Tallink Ferry is very new, with bars and restaurants, so the journey over is no hardship. Tallink offers a broad range of ferry crossings each day, allowing us to spend as much time as possible in Tallinn.

We took an Insight tour which circumnavigated Iceland over 8 days. I’m so glad we did more than the usual tourist route around the ‘Golden Circle’. I’m also glad we took a tour where all breakfasts and all but two dinners were included. Be prepared to pay more in Iceland. Iceland is a wildly beautiful place where the wind can almost knock you off your feet and the skies are more often gray than blue. I loved it. We were lucky enough to have teaming rain mostly while we were on the bus and not while we were stopped at sights.

Cambodia & Vietnam.

Just wanted to let you know how our trip went.  We had the best time needed a holiday to get over the holiday the staff on the boat were fantastic so obliging and friendly we partied every night never got to bed before midnight and the guides we had were outstanding so informative and knowledgeable,  we saw so much it was great.  The food on board was amazing such a variety no one should have gone hungry there was always plenty to eat.  I am not sure if you are able to send anything to TravelMarvel I have tried to find a website or email address that I can write to them and let them know about our trip.

Our Travel Coordinator Son was wonderful so friendly and helpful the staff on the boat Sunny/ So/ Sally & Sam were outstanding they looked after us so well I actually miss them I could have brought them all home with me.  The tour guides Lucky / Tinney / Phen / Kahn were so helpful and were only too willing to explain everything to you and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves.

The only downside was the food on the plane going over on the Friday night everyone complained about that from Brisbane to Singapore but the food from Singapore to Sam Reap was lovely and coming home the food was good as well just the food out of Brisbane.  I have put a review on your website for you so I hope that helps.  We are looking at our next one maybe next year towards the end of the year or the year after, Amsterdam to Budapest is looking good will have to save some more money.

Once again thank you for organising a great holiday for us we look forward to the next time.  Val. 

Thailand is a very nice place to visit, guides very nice, hotels clean and tidy, did not think much of the Shangri La in Bangkok certainly not 5 star, the Anantara in Chiang Mai much better and staff more efficient and friendly than Bangkok. If we decide to go again will just go the Chiang Mai and the Anantara Resort, might do it if we have a side trip to Singapore or Hong Kong one day.

Have to thank Carmen Patterson of API Travel, I have known her since she started there over 30 years ago and she has always arranged a great package for me wherever I have been. Also a big thank you to her agent Thuan Nguyen with Wide Eyed Tours who delivered everything we wanted. Sandra & Denis

Well Hi there. 

Just thought I would let you know that our big trip travelling around Paris, our cruise on the Oceania, and our King of Fjords in Norway went without a problem.  All our train travels and bus trips went right to plan and all our accommodation was absolutely spot on.  We could not believe how close our hotels were to all our arrivals and departures.  I loved every part of the whole trip.  Used a lot of Hop on Hop off Buses at the different places.  Saw a lot and learnt a lot.

Many Thanks once again for all the help you gave us putting our third big adventure we have worked with you on to plan.   I put a note on Facebook at the end on our travels thanking Carmen Patterson from API travel for helping us with all the organising - all went PERFECT.

Hi Carmen

Just finding a bit of time to look back 25 years (anniversary is April 2019) up to where we have been this year.

The first trip was with an API Sporting Group to Hawaii with an extension organised by you for the mainland USA / Alaska.

A lot of wonderful miles, memories and a few dollars later we are still happy with our lot.

A big thank you to You and the team over the years, it has been and hopefully will continue to be a wonderful journey.

All the very best to yourself, family and all the Travel Team for Christmas and the New year.

We have not yet had time to think about anything as a 25 year celebration destination but who knows………
